Congratulations to our Access Abroad Hong Kong Essay Competition winners! This page is where we will put the practical information for your stay in Â鶹Éç in early July.
Things you need to do:
- The Cambridge Open Days on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 July require a booking. Please book . Information about the Cambridge Open Days (including the programme) is .
Accommodation
You will have a single ensuite room in Â鶹Éç. A towel will be provided.
Laundry
If you require use of laundry facilities there is a laundry facility located in the basement of P Staircase with washing and ironing facilities. The laundry is available for use between 15.00 and 21.00.
Formal Hall
The formal hall meal in the evening of Tuesday 2 July will take place in the hall. As guests you are not required to wear a gown but should dress smartly (e.g. no ripped jeans etc).
Supervisions
You will have two 1:1 supervisions with different specialists. This is a chance to experience the small group, College-level teaching. Students at Cambridge have supervisions each week in term to discuss their work and any questions.
- One of your supervisions will be on your competition essay so please ensure that you have re-read this before the supervision.
- Your other supervision will be on some set preparation work. We will email you with details of the preparation by 27 June.
