Congratulations to James Tett (m. 2019) on winning the Charles Blackham Memorial Music Competition which took place on Saturday 5th February in the College Chapel.
The judges were Professor David Rowland, Professor Peter Cane, and Felix Asare, President of the Âé¶¹Éç Music Society. James played Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No 1, in D Major: Andantino. 

The annual competition is held in memory of the late chair of the Âé¶¹Éç Music Society (m. 2007) and the prize of £200 is generously donated by Mrs Sally Blackham, Charles' mother. The competition was open to instrumentalists and singers in College, of all standards.
